You Will Never Want to Leave
The safe and social Village Square has been serving tourists and the community of Burlington since 1977 (Maria, Burlington Village Square - The Smaller, Younger Cousin To Toronto's Distillery District.). The Square is the perfect place for you to spend a calming, relaxing afternoon or a specially scheduled day filled with activities; you won't want to waste one second! No matter the length of your stay in Burlington, the Village Square is a place you must visit. In addition, the picturesque brick with the light grey-coloured stone and the aesthetic red telephone booth makes for the perfect place for a photoshoot.
Although quaint in size, the Village Square uniquely contains over 30 distinct businesses, from cute coffee shops to cultural restaurants to affordable yet beautiful clothing stores. Furthermore, just a short walk away is the pier which outlooks the glistening, glorious and gentle Lake Ontario. Wow! How could you pass up this opportunity? I know I wouldn't! As you are joyously walking during the summertime, you will undoubtedly come across one of the multiple pop-up shops that often fill the Square, along with live music, crafts, and many other kid-friendly activities. However, don't let this discourage you from excitedly coming in the wintertime. With the snow as bright as the stars freely falling, the square holds multiple carolling events, which makes for a destination, winter wonderland vacation.
Despite all the fantastic activities that will have you never wanting to leave, there are also many culturally diverse restaurants. Although you are in Burlington, your palette will travel the world! For example, you will have the chance to try Persian, Mediterranean, Greek, Japanese, and even Italian food, all within this little village.
If the many activities, culture, food, and beautiful scenery doesn’t convince you to visit, then I don’t know what will!
Why wait? Visit now!
