Get to Know me!

Hello! My name is Riya Acharya and I am currently a grade 11 student at Blyth Academy. I am a very goal-oriented perfectionist who is always excited and energetic, ready to take on challenges. I do many extracurricular activities such as swimming but I am most passionate about my role as a national level gymnast. I have been an active community member for the past 6 years, participating in numerous fundraisers including United Way, Joseph Brant Hospital, The Terry Fox Foundation Run, Heart and Stroke, McMaster Children’s Hospital Foundation and events for local businesses. Through my academics and numerous extracurricular activities, I have gained time management skills, dedication and attention to detail. Focus and passion are qualities that I bring to all of my endeavours.
